چکیده
Efficient and one-pot conversion of biomass-derived carbohydrate into highly value-added 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) is a crucial reaction step for the valorization biomass resources toward bio-based chemicals fuels. In this work, series Sn/SAPO-34 catalysts were prepared through impregnation evaluated in glucose to HMF. The physicochemical properties systematically characterized by SEM, XRD, N2 physisorption, XPS, solid-state 119Sn, 29Si, 31P NMR, XRF, UV–vis, NH3-TPD, pyridine-FTIR techniques. It was demonstrated that controlling Sn loading amount could facilely adjust acid strength SAPO-34 zeolite. incorporation species induce formation tetrahedrally coordinated Sn4+ site Sn-OH improve amounts Bronsted Lewis sites catalyst. Effect of Feedstock and Catalyst Impurities on the Methanol‐to‐Olefin Reaction over H‐SAPO‐34
Operando UV/Vis spectroscopy with on-line mass spectrometry was used to study the effect of different types of impurities on the hydrocarbon pool species and the activity of H-SAPO-34 as a methanol-to-olefins (MTO) catalyst. Successive reaction cycles with different purity feedstocks were studied, with an intermittent regeneration step. The combined study of two distinct impurity types (i.e., f...
متن کاملVery efficient conversion of glucose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in DBU-based ionic liquids with benzenesulfonate anion
Efficient conversion of glucose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), an important platform molecular for fuels and chemicals, is a promising topic in green chemistry. In this work, several new DBU-based (DBU = 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene) ionic liquids (ILs) with benzene sulfonate (BS) anion were synthesized and used as the solvents for the dehydration of glucose to HMF. It was found that a...
متن کاملNb2O5-γ-Al2O3 nanofibers as heterogeneous catalysts for efficient conversion of glucose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural
One-dimensional γ-Al2O3 nanofibers were modified with Nb2O5 to be used as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst to catalyze biomass into 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF). At low Nb2O5 loading, the niobia species were well dispersed on γ-Al2O3 nanofiber through Nb-O-Al bridge bonds. The interaction between Nb2O5 precursor and γ-Al2O3 nanofiber results in the niobia species with strong Lewis acid si...
متن کاملGeneration of diamondoid hydrocarbons as confined compounds in SAPO-34 catalyst in the conversion of methanol.
Formation of adamantane hydrocarbons and their confinement in SAPO-34 caused the long induction period and the quick catalyst deactivation in methanol conversion. Via ship-in-a-bottle synthesis, adamantane and methyladamantanes could be produced from methanol conversion in the cage of 8-ring SAPO catalysts under very mild reaction conditions.
